Unless something changes, mom will be coming home Thursday. She’s done so well in rehab, that they think she is ready to go home.
They have set up a therapist to come to the house to work with her for a bit longer until they determine that she’s back to normal or there about.
I’m still a little worried about the left side weakness, it still comes and goes. I’d feel much better if I knew what was causing it, but since they haven’t done any more testing, I guess getting and answer isn’t something we can expect.
Once she’s home and gotten some rest and healed a bit more, we can start investigating on our own. Not sure which doctor to start with, but maybe her primary could lead us in the right direction.
If this year long journey has taught us anything, it’s that you have to take your health into your own hands. If we had excepted what the first doctor told us, she would never have gotten the surgery and I’m not sure how much longer she would have been with us.
So we will just have to handle this new challenge when she’s up for it.
Thank you to everyone that has kept us in your thoughts and prayers. Believe me, it helped. This has all gone way to well not to believe God had his hands all over it.
So thank you for the prayers and Thank you God for all you’ve done for us.

That's wonderful news!
Thank you Tracy, your such a sweety. I literally feel like a weight has been lifted off me. I can breath so much better... funny how our bodies handle stress huh?
Hugs,
Vikki
What great news!
Thank you Fit
She's doing amazingly well and will be back better than ever soon.
I read about your Vision Wall, what a completely cool idea. May have to try something like that myself. If I can find an empty wall or maybe the back of the door.
Hugs,
Vikki
I thoought it was a great idea also. I snagged if from Lena.
Vikki, that is wonderful news about your mom. :-) Keeping you and your mom in my prayers.
Thanks Jennifer,
She's back in the hospital at the moment, but we're hoping to have her home again real soon.
I told her it was her own fault for being so sweet. They just wanted her back...giggle
Actually she's developed arterial fiberlation. They have her heart rate back down, but it's still out of rhythm and her breathing is awful. So she's making progress.
Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers.
Vikki
Sorry to hear that Vikki. I pray she gets stronger quickly. May God continue to bless you both. Such a nice thing you said to your mom.
